IAMSK is addressing root issues related to the effects of poverty and economic restraints on single mothers. We help single mothers work towards economic security through emergency funding for housing, a savings match program, childcare, and a 24/7 pantry. By providing access to resources, IAMSK directly challenges barriers to the success and economic security of single mothers. Childcare alone is one of the greatest barriers to the advancement of single mothers. Our services, offered through an intersectional and equity lens, reduce the stressors that prevent single mothers from getting ahead.
