Financial Literacy

​If you missed this month's installment of Single Moms Need Love Too, you definitely missed a very engaging and supremely informative session. I felt richer just having been there! For most people, especially single moms, finances seem elusive and not all that great a topic of conversation. But Ebony Clark, of P3 Financial Group, whittled the concept of finances down to bite-sized tidbits manageable for digestion.  

After we shared our Praise Reports we jumped right into a Season of Prayer. I asked the moms to get into groups of two with a mom that they weren't familiar with and pray for one another. This greatly changed the atmosphere in the room! Our environment is always warm and welcoming but you can tell that burdens were lifted after these prayers were uttered.

As always, we enjoyed food and fellowship; and were given tools to help us to become more of the rockstar moms we already are. There were about 20 moms in attendance; our largest group yet! I am grateful to all of my moms, new and old, who continue to support this mission. This group's for you! ;)
