Dating as a Christian

​IAMSK (our nickname) hosted it's 4th installment of Single Moms Need Love Too and it was amazing as always! We played "what's in your purse?" as an icebreaker. It's kind of a scavenger hunt in your bag. Yo, moms carry some uncommonly interesting items around with them. 

Makeba Garrison, Chaplain at the West Cancer Clinic, was our very special guest speaker. Though she is not a single mom she was raised by one. And she brought her with her! Mrs. Renee' was the most delightful lady to speak to! She shared her testimony with us and also gave us a candid view on how we should raise our children in the fear and admonition of Christ. Although Mrs. Renee' chose not to date until her daughter was away for college (this is not my ministry)she still wanted to marry the man God had for her. She waited and she prayed. She prayed and she waited. And she was finally given the desires of her heart! He's nice looking too, y'all! We got to meet him. :)
