Blessings on blessings

​Hey, y'all! I pray that everyone's Mother's Day and week was phenomenal! IAMSK had an AMAZING week! Let me share just a few of the blessings that we received this week;1. I (Margaret, Founding Keeper) had an amazing call with Seth Harkins from Alcy Ball CDC. Not only will we be collabing (I'm sure that's not a real word but you know what I mean) on some things but he was also kind enough to connect me with some folks I need to know for this work. That's major. Just in case you didn't know.2. IAMSK is in a grant pool for a program called Jumpstart sponsored by NetworkForGood. To even be considered as worthy is an honor. Keep us lifted in prayer on this. ;)3. We submitted our Empowerment Grant proposal to CommunityLIFT. This is major because I lost the entire proposal I had typed up the day before the application was due. BUT GOD! Keep us lifted on this too. 4. We will be able to provide our neighbors in 38106 with food boxes starting THIS WEEK! I know you know how big of a deal that is so I won't dare question your intelligence on this. :)5. Last but certainly NOT least, the Community Foundation saw fit to gift us ANOTHER $1000 to help with our work! The picture reflects the last check we received but we will be receiving an identical one (with a different date, of course) this week!We are being blessed in a mighty way.
